Description:
Mayflower is looking for a Principal Antenna Engineer to develop GNSS multi-element antenna array designs to support Mayflower GNSS anti-jam products. This applicant should have the ability to design, model, and analyze multi-element arrays of monopoles, loops, dipoles, and other innovative microwave element structures. Antenna modeling expertise with HFSS is desired. The candidate must have experience with designing impedance matched antennas and tuning circuits to impedance match antenna arrays over multiple bands, as well as modeling and measuring antenna active impedance. Experience in GNSS bands is a plus. The candidate must have experience in designing antennas for fabrication and maturing them into a final product. Experience in RF system level design including LNAs, mixers, filters, amplifiers, PLLs, VCOs, I/Q modulators, and RF dividers is also a plus.
Proficiency with laboratory measurements and equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, noise figure analyzers, and power meters is required. The candidate must also be proficient with measuring antenna patterns in an anechoic chamber.
Required Skills and Education:
- S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with experience in electromagnetics and antenna design, modeling, and development. Responsibilities will be commensurate with the level of education and experience.
- Proficiency with anechoic chamber antenna pattern measurements and laboratory measurements using equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, noise figure analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes is expected.

Description:
Mayflower is looking for a Contracts Manager to perform all duties related to the Company’s contractual tasks. The successful candidate will bring an understanding and ability to negotiate the terms and conditions of Government and commercial contracts with customers, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers. A strong command of the Federal Acquisition Regulations/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS), and overall contracts management functions are essential to this role. Must possess exceptional attention to detail, perform within time constraints, be flexible with occasional off-hours availability, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain good relationships with customers and subcontractors, and liaise with Programs and Engineering managers and staff to accomplish contractual commitments and their reporting.

- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded real-time software development

- Architecting, designing, implementing, validating and integrating Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) or Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) logic designs including interface logic, control logic and digital signal processing (DSP) in support of Mayflower’s ongoing GPS Anti-Jam development efforts.
- Authoring and maintaining ASIC / FPGA design specifications and test-plans.

Minimum Requirements:

- 8 years of experience (post BS degree) or 5 years of experience (with MS degree) in ASIC or FPGA design
- ASIC or FPGA or RTL design experience using System Verilog, Verilog or VHDL (System Verilog or Verilog preferred)
- ASIC/FPGA SoC design skills with understanding of ASIC or FPGA tools and flows.
- ASIC experience with Cadence or Synopsys tools or FPGA experience with Xilinx, Altera and/or Actel devices and flows.
- Experienced with simulation tools such as Questa from Mentor
- Hands on knowledge of high speed timing and timing closure
- Familiarity of ARM processors and AMBA bus protocols

Digital design of Mayflower GPS Receiver, Anti-Jam and Wireless Communication systems hardware using Mayflower ASICs, state-of-the-art FPGAs, and microcontrollers with focus towards size, weight, power and cost optimized products.
- Working with high-speed digital components such as DSP, XILINX FPGAs, NXP ARM Processors, PIC Microcontrollers, custom Mayflower ASICs, A/D and D/A converters and high-speed Dual Data Rate (DDR) type interfaces.
- Digital design and development of complex, high density, multi-layer, high-speed, mixed-signal, and small form factor custom PCBs.
- Participate in system architecture trade-off studies.
- Write and maintain project related design documentation (via in-house EDA tools).
- Performing PCB placement of digital components on circuit boards.
- Overseeing the contracted PCB layout designers through the entire PCB development cycle and bringing up and trouble-shooting the hardware in a laboratory environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 Years post BS degree experience or 3 years post MS degree experience in digital hardware design.
- U.S. Citizenship.

- Working with technician(s) to direct hardware PCB changes, parts research or ordering components.
- Familiarity with board bring-up, lab debug, validation techniques and tools (multi-meter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer).
